Stage 1 - an evaluation of documentation to determine that the applicant meets the ’entry’ criteria for the scheme. Documentation to be submitted includes:
The documents will be reviewed and a report issued. If the documents are not adequate, the applicant will be informed and further documentation may be required.
Stage 2 - if the stage 1 evaluation is successful, an evaluation will be conducted. This will be conducted by a URS Persons approved evaluator and will be on-site during a fire risk assessment. The applicant will be required to demonstrate their knowledge and ability to apply that knowledge against the following topics:
The evaluator will complete a full report which will be independently reviewed by a URS Persons approved reviewer. Corrective actions by the applicant may be required which will also form part of the review process. Certification will be granted, only when corrective actions have been satisfactorily addressed which may require a follow-up on-site evaluation.
